Time Management

I seem to have been doing LOADS lately with friends, family and job-search wise & yet I've had the same amount of time (or lack of), that I've always had. How come? 2 things -
DIARIES & Get up and go!
Don't get me wrong, they're not new to me, I've always had them. In fact, I'm the one with 6 notepads and 2 diaries just in my handbag. But the're always for show Hehe
I'm the one who never has the time for the gym/start driving/job hunting/see people. Yet I have the time for the pub & shopping (I maintain these are still essential)!
It's been about creating time. For E.g - yesterday I got in at 5.30 and was going for a meal at 7 - normally this would mean 'as if I'm going to the gym, there's no time'. WELL - I MADE time. Seb pulls up in the car at 5.30, I jump in, get myself to the gym, get picked up at 6.20, giving me half hour for a shower and get ready. In turn, I felt amazing & I only had a salad 'cause I didn't want to ruin my workout.
Sorry to be a bore ladies but there's time! I'm sure I'll off days and I'm sure there genuinely won't always be time, but for now I'm enjoying my 'busy' schedule and I feel all the more better for it. I'm not lethargic anymore and I don't have time to overthink or feel guilty for not doing things.
I've gone from no time to being able to do all these things in the last month and on-going:
  • Joined a charity committee (set them up a facebook page & organised 2 fundraising events)
  • Applied for 12 jobs
  • Fake tanned (Mums will know this is a big deal!) haha
  • Painted my nails (as above)
  • Set up this page!
  • Been to the gym 3 times a week and running twice a week
- as well as my usual being Mum, seeing friends, drinking wine etc. I'm not knackered, I feel ace & long may it continue...
Start by adding one additional thing to your week you've been meaning to do for ages and I PROMISE you'll feel benefits...
Lots of love xoxo

Welcome!

INTRO...

Hello!
I'm Amy/27/Wife/Mum to 7 month old Bub.
I'm excited to share my stories, thoughts, ideas and general wonderments of being a new Mum & new wife while trying to keep my identity through fashion, friends and finally loving life.
Heres me -

 Here's Bub -
2014 - 2014 was a whirlwind year. In short - I discovered my Dad had terminal cancer, I got married (planned in 2 months), found out I was pregnant, left my job of 6 years, moved from Sheffield back to my hometown in Teesside, my Dad died and I had a baby.
It's been a struggle, me, hubby & Bub live with my Mum & I'm still trying to find my career path. Bub, friends and family have got my through this year and I like to think so has a bit of inner strength. I want to use this blog as kind of an outlet but I also hope my experiences will help someone else - as well as having fun with fashion, beauty and adventures as its time I stopped being so damn serious!
I'm excited to finally have got the courage & the time to dedicate to this blog journey & I hope to meet some like minded lovelies along the way.
Lots of love, xoxo
